Whether you would like to learn guitar for fun or would like to work towards a grade, I can help you to achieve your goals. All ages and abilities are welcome. I teach beginners right through to advanced students including those who are working towards diplomas.
Working towards a grade can be a great way to add structure to your learning and it can help you to know what level you are at on your instrument. The higher grades can also give you UCAS points. I have a lot of experience helping students to prepare for their music exams with Rockschool, RGT and Trinity, all the way up to grade 8.
I currently work at a busy music school in the West Midlands as well as teaching many students privately. I also have experience teaching group lessons in schools.
I offer private tuition from my home in Telford, but can also travel to you depending on distance (a small fee may be required).
I teach most guitar styles up to an advanced level including acoustic, classical, jazz, rock and blues and I teach both bluegrass and Celtic mandolin. So whether you are a beginner looking to get things right from the start, or an advanced student with more specific goals in mind, I can help!
